As we meet here tonight, we are approaching a defining moment in the history of our nation and our place in the world.
It is a period of great change and it will, of course, have its challenges.
There will be ups and downs along the way. But I believe we should embrace this period with confidence and optimism.

Edo State Government Host Business Summit.

The Edo State Investment Summit (Alaghodaro) is an initiative of the Edo State Government aimed at promoting innovation and boosting economic productivity in the state through collaboration with the private sector.

It is in line with the vision of the Godwin Obaseki-led administration to build “a modern and progressive Edo state where every citizen is empowered with opportunity to live life in its fullness.”
This maiden edition themed “Envisioning the Future” will bring together top Nigerian and International business leaders, investors, bankers, industry experts, policymakers and the academia to set the agenda for development.
It will showcase how Edo State intends to partner with the private sector to leverage the state’s competitive advantage in different sectors for sustainable economic growth.
Key areas of focus include Institutional Reform, Economic Development, Social Welfare, Environmental Sustainability, and Art, Culture & Tourism.
The 3-day summit is designed to foster knowledge sharing, build relationships, spark innovation and inspire commitment to strategic deployment of capital for greater socio-economic and environmental impact.
Alaghodaro 2017 coincides with the first year anniversary celebration of Governor Godwin Obaseki, and it is scheduled to hold from November 10 – 12 at Edo Hotels, Okada Avenue, Benin City.

EFE; FROM STREET BOY TO MILLIONAIRE



After over 10 weeks of hilarious Big Brother Nigeria, Efe emerged winner of N 25 Million and SUV.
Efe has won the Big Brother Naija 2017.
He was declared winner at exactly 9:28pm on Sunday leaving Bisola the second runners up and TBoss as third place.
It’s the final day of the Trending reality show BBNaija as the winner emerges today.
Before today, the five housemates left behind were TBoss, Bisola, Efe, Marvis and Debbie Rise.
Marvis and Debbie Rise have been evicted.
Wangie Uba Obi presented the cheque of N25m to the elated Warri-born singer who was later joined by his well wishers on stage.
Efe, the last male in the house finished with 57.61% of the votes to win, beating Bisola to the win.

Bisola whose speech was also rated the best during ONE’s campaign on girls education presentation, got the opportunity to go to the New York City and speak on girls education.
However, Tboss who came third won all Friday night shows and was given a voucher of Five Hundred Thousand Naira to shop on Payporte.
